Hey, i’m Kate. Nature is sort of my thing, so I am glad to be able to start blogging about it. I don’t enjoy talking about myself- but I’m 20, a scorpio, and a sophomore at UNH. I’ve lived in New Hampshire my whole life and have fallen in love with this state. As far as physical activity goes, snowboarding is my life in the winter time. Hiking, biking, long boarding and running are my favorite things to do during the rest of the year. I graduated from Sanborn High School in Kingston, NH and attended Keene State College right after high school. Craving a change, I transferred to UNH as a sophomore in the fall of 2012. I have survived my first year at UNH, and I’m looking forward to receiving a degree in Rec Management and minoring in Outdoor Education. After college my best friend and I plan to attend school in Utah or Colorado to become certified estheticians and eventually create our own skin care line.

Live free or die should be everybody’s motto. I won’t be fulfilled in life until I satisfy my curiosity for everything by traveling the world. I live for the summers when my dad, sister, family, friends and I travel several hundred miles west to rent an RV and cruise around the western states. Every year we pick a place to fly to, then see where the roads take us. Nothing is better than that.
